*Smile! You've just been snapped by a mobile phone*
Samsung Electronics has completed development of a flip-open mobile handset that comes with a 1.5-inch TFT-LCD and has digital camera functions built in. To operate the Camera, the user just presses the Camera Mode button on the side of the unit. A camera lens located on the upper backside of the phone captures the> subject and displays it on the TFT-LCD. Once the subject has been framed correctly, the user presses the shutter button on the bottom of the TFT-LCD.
Great on the go, the camera phone allows people to be ready to record any emergency (such as a traffic accident) or unexpected circumstance that they want to capture. The product is expected to be well received by the younger generations who are accustomed to using digital cameras, and by young parents of small children.
The unit can take 20 pictures at 350,000-pixel resolution in Regular Mode and 26 pictures in Conserve Mode. A macro (Text Mode) function allows the user to take clear photographs of written text. The P-400 has much to offer in terms of an LCD panel for previewing images before printing; 16.7 million colours; a host of output options including PCs, Macs, SmartMedia cards, digital cameras and loads more. The new Samsung Cybermax 35 MP3 is a digital camera and MP3 player in one compact unit. Featuring a 640 X 480 resolution, the camera can also be used for Internet video-conferencing.

*Fun Things To Do With Your Photos*
Looking for something to do with your photographs? Like maybe wearing them? Or creating ceramic tiles with an interesting picture. Here are some ideas and places where you can go.
Great Ideas With Image Transfers
If you're an artist, a business or just proud of your photos, here’s a chance to share with your friends, family and clients. Now you can easily imprint them on a wide variety of items such as t-shirts, refrigerator magnets, coffee mugs, ceramic, trophies, binder covers, large banners and hundreds of other items. These personalized items make great gifts, fund-raisers or promotional items.
You create them with heat transfer paper. You can print on heat transfer paper from just about any printer. The paper can then be ironed onto a T-shirt or other objects. It's that easy! Follow theses four simple steps and you’ll be flaunting your photos in next to no time:
1. Pick an item to be photo "embellished" and some sheets of heat transfer paper that will work in your printer. Oh yes…and choose your desired picture. Do note that the white areas of the image take on the color of the material on which they are printed. If you must print on a material of another color, you can use a sheet of opaque transfer paper to print a white background behind the photo.
2. You can edit the photo and even add some text to it in your favorite photo-editing program.
3. Don’t forget to print the photo as a mirror image (reversed left to right) so that it will appear right side up on the desired object. The printing can be done with an ink-jet or even a copy machine. The transfer paper you use must be designed for use in the printer or copier you've chose n.
4. Iron the transfer paper onto the T-shirt or other item and peel away the backing. Some paper must be peeled immediately (hot peel) and others will wait till you've changed the baby (cold peel). Follow the paper manufacturers’ instructions.
You can also transfer photos onto mouse pads and coasters to give as gifts, or to sell at fundraisers. Using special transfer paper such as Wyndstone's Mouse-Jet. You can use your ink-jet printer to print transfers for non-washable products, such as mouse pads, coasters, and puzzles. You can also purchase pre-cut blank jigsaw puzzles especially created for heat transfers. Ceramic tiles with your photos on them can be a great item to decorate with. Check out the range at
Remember, that while many items can be done with nothing more than a home iron, more unusual materials such as ceramics (mugs), wood, glass, and metals require commercial presses. These are expensive but you may be able to find someone in your area to do the job at a reasonable cost.
A major source of waterslide decal supplies is Bel, Inc. For example, they create special water slide temporary tattoo sheets. After printing, you apply them with a wet sponge or moist paper towel. Kids love this. Take a look at the website to see their exciting range.
