SANTA CLARA, Calif. & LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sept. 25, 2001--E-Book Systems, Inc. and Intermedia Organizer, Inc. announced today that the award-winning FlipAlbum® product and Intermedia Organizer's iO(TM) will integrate to organize media and publishing software in the FlipBook(TM) format.
In addition to this product integration, the companies will partner on marketing and sales efforts.
FlipAlbum® is the only software that allows users to instantly create digital photo albums or product catalogs featuring E-Book Systems' 3D page-flipping interface. This technology permits you to view pages on your computer as if you were reading a traditional book. iO(TM) v. 2.0 is the only media organizer to incorporate instant peer-to-peer publishing and presentations directly from a user's PC or Laptop via the Web with its unique Flash Viewer, SMIL and Pocket PC interfaces. With this integrated offering, users enjoy all of the powerful media organizing and cataloguing features of iO(TM) in an integrated, seamless fashion while extending their web publishing and presentation capabilities for their digital photos using FlipViewer® and the FlipBook(TM) format. In addition, iO(TM) extends the FlipViewer® capability by integrating it's Flash and SMIL interfaces within FlipViewer®.
