Publishers Marketing Association Chooses E-Book Systems' Digital Flip Technology
Monday April 12, 10:56 am ET
Readers simply click on free download to view newsletters in dynamic, 3-D page flipping format

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 2004-- Publishers Marketing Association (PMA), a trade association of independent publishers, is using E-Book System's Digital Flip® Technology for their online newsletters. E-Book Systems--the leader in 3-D Digital Flip® technology--creates dynamic 3-D page-turning digital "FlipBooks" out of any document.

Founded in 1983, PMA, with more than 3,900 members serves book, audio, and video publishers located around the world. Its mission is to advance the professional interests of independent publishers. To this end, PMA provides cooperative marketing programs, education and advocacy within the publishing industry.

Now, with the Digital Flip® technology, visitors who go to http://www.pma-online.org/ can simply click on a link to automatically download the newsletters and install FlipViewer(TM), which allows visitors to view the newsletters as they appear in the printed version. Once the program is downloaded and for all subsequent visits, the reader needs only to click on the newsletter link on the site and the FlipBook version will open immediately.

"To date we have converted our February and March newsletters in the Digital Flip format and we couldn't be more happy with the output," says Jan Nathan, Executive Director of PMA. "We plan to convert many other projects in this format, including a resource directory for our upcoming Publishing University in June."
