The additional charges that you
can specify here are miscellaneous charges and tax charges.
These additional charges are automatically computed in the Order
Form.

Fig 7-1 Shopping Cart Setup – Additional Charges
For miscellaneous charges, you can
classify it as a fixed charge (such as shipping) or a percentage
charge (such as service charge). The miscellaneous percentage
charge is applied to the total order amount. You may further
specify whether the miscellaneous charges are taxable. This
miscellaneous charge amount is added to the sub-total amount
before the tax percentage, defined in the tax charges, is
applied to arrive at the grand total.
Tax charges are applied to the sub-total, which includes the
taxable miscellaneous charges. For 2 or more tax charges defined
in the CD catalog, the cumulative percentage will be applied.
For example, if you specify a Sales Tax of 8.25% and a Special
Tax of 1%, then a cumulative percentage total of 9.25% will
be applied to the sub-total to arrive at the grand total.
7.1 Load and Save
You may apply all of your basic setup
information that you have created on one CD catalog to another
CD catalog using the Save and Load
functions of CD Shopping Cart.
